Our parish is powered by volunteers. Through our ministries, parishioners serve the liturgy, care for the vulnerable and build community across the Mornington Peninsula.
Outreach to our community
As a registered charity, caring for people in need is central to who we are. Our outreach is practical, local and personal.
Pastoral Care & Visitation
Trained parish visitors bring friendship, prayer and Holy Communion to the sick, the elderly and the housebound — in private homes, hospitals and aged care facilities across Dromana and neighbouring towns.
Support for Families in Need
Working with local welfare partners, we help families facing financial hardship with food assistance, vouchers, referrals and a listening ear — including people at risk of homelessness and victims of family violence or disaster.
Mission & Aid Appeals
Each year the parish raises funds for Catholic mission and aid work at home and overseas — supporting overseas communities, disaster relief and other charities through national appeals and local fundraisers.
Ministries at Mass
Our celebrations are made beautiful by parishioners who give their time and talents each week.

- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion at Mass and to the housebound
- Music ministry — singers and musicians leading our sung worship
- Altar servers assisting at weekend and special liturgies
- Collectors, welcomers and morning tea hospitality teams
- Church care — flowers, linens and keeping our church beautiful
New volunteers are always welcome and training is provided. Speak with the priest after Mass or contact the parish office.

Prayer, formation & fellowship
Prayer & Reflection Groups
Small groups meet through the year for prayer, Scripture reflection and seasonal programs during Advent and Lent. Details are published in the weekly newsletter and on our news page.
RCIA — Becoming Catholic
The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is a gentle journey for adults exploring the Catholic faith, preparing for Baptism, Confirmation and First Communion, usually culminating at the Easter Vigil.
Children & Families
In partnership with our local Catholic school community, we run sacramental preparation for children and family-friendly liturgies that help young families feel at home in the Church.
