A community of faith on the Mornington Peninsula, rooted in the Catholic tradition and devoted to Our Lady of Perpetual Help.
For generations, Our Lady of Perpetual Help has been a spiritual home for Catholics living in and visiting Dromana and the surrounding Southern Peninsula. Nestled in a much-loved seaside community, our parish gathers locals, families and holidaymakers alike around the altar of the Lord.
We are part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne and are lovingly cared for by the Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) — a religious congregation founded by St Eugene de Mazenod, dedicated to preaching the Gospel to the poor and building close, welcoming communities of faith.
Everything we do flows from the Mass and the sacraments — the source and summit of our life together as a parish family.
The Oblates of Mary Immaculate serve parishes across the world with a heart for the marginalised and a deep devotion to Mary Immaculate. That same spirit shapes the warmth and hospitality you will find here.
The Eucharist is at the centre of all we are. We celebrate Mass daily and offer the sacraments that sustain us on our journey of faith.
We are a family. All are welcome at our table, whatever their background, and everyone has a part to play in the life of the parish.
Following the example of Our Lady, we reach out with compassion to the sick, the grieving and all who are in need of comfort and hope.
Our parish is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), the national regulator of charities. Our charitable purpose is the advancement of religion, together with the pastoral and community care that flows from it.
As a registered charity we meet ongoing standards of governance and transparency, and report on our activities each year. You can verify our registration on the ACNC Charity Register at any time.
