Since 1971, Our Lady of Perpetual Help has been the Catholic heart of Dromana — a parish where Mass is celebrated, the sacraments are lived, and no one who walks through the door is a stranger for long.
01 — Why we exist
Our parish exists for one reason: to make the love of Christ visible in Dromana. We do that the way Catholics always have — around the altar at Mass, through the seven sacraments, in devotion to Our Lady and the saints, and in quiet acts of care for our neighbours.
Lifelong parishioner, returning Catholic, curious visitor, or simply someone who needs a quiet pew and a kind word — whoever you are, there is a place for you here.

02 — The parish way
Everything our parish does flows from the altar outward — from worship into everyday life on the Peninsula.
Sunday Mass is the heartbeat of the parish. We gather as one community — young families, retirees, newcomers and old friends — to hear the Word and share the Eucharist together.
Through Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation, we walk with children and adults as they enter the life of the Church — and we prepare couples for Marriage with care.
Faith is for the hard days too. We visit the sick and housebound, celebrate the Anointing of the Sick, support grieving families and pray with anyone who asks — no questions, no conditions.
Our doors open outward. Parishioners support local families doing it tough, welcome migrants and refugees, and lend hands to other charities across the Mornington Peninsula.

From a small coastal congregation to the parish of today, Our Lady of Perpetual Help has prayed through five decades of Dromana's life — christenings, weddings, funerals and every Sunday in between.
Before the shrine of Our Lady, the votive candles tell their own story — each one a prayer for a sick parent, a travelling child, a marriage, a job, a hope. Some prayers are best said in wax and flame.
